Stick Marsh / Farm 13, Palm Bay, Florida
Stick Marsh / Farm 13 is an impoundment of 6,500 acres of level-controlled fresh water, noted to be one of the top ten fishing spots in Florida. Built by the St. Johns River Management District to filter runoff from residential and agricultural areas before the water reaches the St. Johns River basin, the marsh is rich with beneficial nutrients for bait, fish and birds. An east-west levee splits the waters, with the Stick Marsh to the north and Farm 13 on the south.  click here for Pictures
