The water is extremly shallow at the mouth of the river, mainly freshwater fishing. Very heavy cover in most areas, tight bends with lots of trees.  click here for Pictures

Approximate Distance: 3 miles round trip    Use the Indian River bank for launching.

Directions: From US 1, south to the Goat Creek bridge. Pull off the west side of the bridge.
